SourceTree 1.3 beta 2
By Steve on December 16, 2011I’m very glad to announce that the second beta release of SourceTree 1.3, our new major release, is now available for download. Those of you who are using beta 1 can just hit the in-app update menu (SourceTree > Check for Updates…), but otherwise you can download beta 2 via this link: SourceTree 1.3 beta 2
What’s New in beta 2?
Above and beyond what was in beta 1 (see original announcement), beta 2 includes the following changes:
- Command-line tool – use the ‘stree’ command from a terminal to jump straight into SourceTree, install via ‘SourceTree > Install Command Line Tools’
- Shortcut keys can be bound to custom actions
- Performance improvements in log view
- Full screen support on 10.7 Lion
- Git push / pull of tracking branches no longer forces user to wait for remote query
- Updated Mercurial to 2.0.1
- Fixed 32-bit compatibility of embedded Mercurial
- Fixed ‘Ancestor order’ option in git log and remember the preference
- Fix file list & diff omitting working copy changes when you range select in the log view on a Mercurial repo including the Uncommitted Changes line
I hope you like the update! As ever please remember this is an officially unsupported update, please report any issues at https://jira.atlassian.com/. Thanks!
